anb capital co-leads USD 124 Million Investment in Baraya Extended Care Through its Healthcare Growth Fund
anb capital is pleased to announce that it has co-led a USD 124 million investment in Baraya Extended Care through its Healthcare Growth Fund.  The fundraise was oversubscribed in record time, reflecting strong investor confidence and attracting commitments from leading Saudi and international investors.

Baraya Extended Care (“Baraya”) is a pioneering provider of long-term care, post-acute care, and rehabilitation services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  Its model responds to one of the most pressing challenges in the Saudi healthcare landscape; a critical shortage of specialized extended care capacity.  Current estimates indicate that as much as 14%-19% of acute care hospital beds in major cities are occupied by long-stay patients, underscoring the urgent need for purpose-built long-term care solutions.

The capital infusion – led by TVM Capital Healthcare alongside a syndicate of investors including Olayan Financing Company, SEDCO, SVC, and anb capital – will enable Baraya to scale its inpatient and outpatient footprint across the Kingdom.  Baraya’s growth strategy aligns directly with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the Healthcare Transformation Program, which seek to improve health outcomes through integrated patient-centric models of care.

Khalid S. Alghamdi, CEO of anb capital, stated: “This investment embodies our belief that long-term care is not just a healthcare need, it is a national imperative. As Saudi Arabia advances toward Vision 2030, platforms like Baraya will play a critical role in delivering more efficient, patient-centered care and easing pressure on hospitals. We are proud to help shape the next chapter of healthcare in the Kingdom.”

The anb capital Healthcare Growth Fund targets investments that address structural gaps in healthcare services. This latest investment is a testament to the Fund’s ability to partner with experienced operators and international sponsors to build vital national infrastructure across emerging healthcare verticals.
