anb capital and Ledger Investing, a US-based insurance technology firm, announced today that they have entered into a memorandum of understanding (“MoU”) to develop and launch a US Casualty Insurance Linked Securities Product.  The product will be marketed by anb capital to investors in Saudi Arabia, subject to regulatory approval.  The announcement was made at the 2nd edition of the Financial Sector Conference held in Riyadh on 15-16 March 2023, under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance (“MoF”).
 
Insurance linked securities (“ILS”) are a unique asset class with the potential to offer attractive returns with low volatility, making it an appealing investment option for Saudi investors.
